A former member of the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Chief (Mrs) Chinwe Oduah, has congratulated ex-Governor James Ibori on his 66th birth anniversary.

In her congratulatory message, Hon Oduah, who represented Oshimili South in the State Assembly from 2003 to 2007 when Ibori was serving his second tenure as Governor of Delta State, said the former Governor, popularly called ODIDIGBOIGBO, had remained an epitome of respect, dignity and glamor, 17 years after leaving office.

The former Commissioner and Transition Committee Chairman of Oshimili South Local Government noted that Ibori’s leadership acumen and strong character were still deeply rooted, making him one of the foremost political leader in the country.

She stated that the foundation laid by Chief Ibori in the areas of politics, infrastructural and human capital development, as well as peace building and ethnic cohesion in the state had continued to be consolidated by successive administrations, leaving the state better off in all ramifications.

Hon Oduah said the echoes of the Ibori administration would continue to revaberate in the state many years to come, describing him as a highly influential personality, a crowd puller, a detribalized leader and a man of the people.

She prayed God to grant Chief Ibori good health, long life, more wisdom and capacity to further impact positively on the state, the country and humanity.
