It was a moment of relief and celebration for widows at Alifekede, in Ika South local government area, as a renowned philanthropist and General Overseer of Divine Faith Evangelical Mission International, also known as, Deliverance Ministry, Prophet Joseph Igbodo, visited them with food items to cushion the effect of the prevailing excruciating hunger in the land
The Prophet of God, who is also the proprietor of Job’s Orphanage and St. Stephen’s Trust Widows Home, Agbor, distributed 2 bags of rice, 2 crates of Bobo drink, 12 cartons of indomie, 6 rolls of tissue paper, 3 cartons of biscuits, 2 packs of cheese ball, 1 carton of canoe soap, 2 packs of sweet and other food items to the widows.
During the visit, Prophet Igbodo told the widows that he was happy to identify with them saying that God was always in their midst.
In his words, “We came with nothing to earth and we will go with nothing. The most important thing in life is to embrace Jesus Christ and live a good life. When one does not know God, he will be a wanderer and without direction. But when you know God, He will definitely bless you.
“Be grateful to God for the gift of life and pray to Him to bless your children. Knowing God is the way to go. If you hate God, then you are the devil’s incarnate.. Encourage your children to go to church.
“Poverty is not good. Draw your children close to God so that they can have good life. No one can succeed without God. If you don’t know God, you won’t have access to His blessings. When your children know God, they will definitely remember you.
“God is the landlord of the whole earth. Some pastors don’t know God, that is why there is nothing to show in their life. There is no success in following satan. Any household that does not serve God, poverty is always the order of their life.
“Man is a destroyer. God is the saviour. Don’t take your challenges to man. Man can’t save you. The family of Jesus is the best family on earth. It is not too late to sell Jesus Christ to yourself and children. Allow God to repair your children.God can avert sickness, accident, ill-luck, failure amd hunger. When you embrace God, He will correct all your mistakes that will end your suffering”.
