EZECHI ORGANIZES ICT TRAINING/EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME FOR SELECTED SCHOOLS IN NDOKWA LAND

The member representing the Ndokwa Ukwuani Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon Nnamdi Ezechi, has promised to bring education in the constituency to speed with the rapidly evolving technology driven world.

Hon Ezechi made the promise today at Kwale during a one-day Infirmation Communication Technology (ICT) training/empowerment programme he organized for selected primary and secondary schools, in conjunction with the National Biotechnology Development Agency,

The Lawmaker said the initiative was aimed at fostering and supporting digital literacy, noting that 

proficiency in technology was essential for students’ academic success and future career prospects. 

He stated that equipping young learners with digital tools was key to enhances their educational experience and preparing them to compete in a global economy which increasingly relied on digital skills.

Hon Ezechi reiterated his commitment to driving the initiative and the broader goal of improving educational outcomes of communities in the Ndokwa Ukwuani Federal Constituency 

The Parliamentarian said investing in students’ digital literacy was one sure way of laying foundation for a brighter, more innovative future and pledged to sustain the initiative and extend it to more schools in the years ahead.

Laptops were handed over to Heads of the selected schools with a charge to ensure that students had access to them to be able to develop their technological competencies.

The event started with a brief training session which provided educators with the necessary guidance on how to integrate the new tools effectively into their teaching practices.

Present at the event were the Ndokwa East Local Government Chairman, Hon. Vincent Osilonya, the Vice Chairman, Hon. Cecilia Ekpo, Comrade Ozegbe Adoh; Hon. Okwuwa Ezechi; Chief Ogbuji Okonye, Hon Prince Onuah, Hon. Moses Chukwuwendu, who all took turns to present laptops to the School Heads.
