The newly sworn-in Chairman of Ndokwa East Local government Council, Chief Vincent Osilonya, has promised to make a difference in the socioeconomic life of the people of the area 

Osilonya, in an interview with Journalists shortly after subscribing to the relevant oaths before the State Governor, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, emphasized that he came prepared to serve and would do so with every sense of humanity, responsibility and transparency .

The Council Chairman said he, his Vice, Mrs Cecilia Ekpo and the Councillors, would work as a team towards achieving set goals, stressing that no part of the LGA would be left out in the scheme of things.

He thanked the Governor for insisting on free, fair and credible local government elections in the state, and PDP leaders in Ndokwa East, especially Chief God’swill Obielum, Rt. Hon Nnamdi Ezechi, among others, for their support in the just concluded election.

Osilonya solicited the support and cooperation of the people for his administration, just as he called on his opponents in the election to join him in moving the area forward .
