The Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the Oshimili South chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ogbueshi Dada Okonji, has congratulated Dr.Kelvin Ezenyili on his successful return as Chairman of Oshimili South Local Government Council.
Ogbueshi Okonji, in a message made available to newsmen in Asaba shortly after the inauguration of the new Council Chairmen by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, noted that Dr Ezenyili was adopted as the sole Chairmanship candidate of PDP for the Local Government election in Oshimili South because of his strong character and capacity to deliver, even as a young politician.
He said the immediate past Council Chairman worked very hard to deserve a come back by impacting significantly on the life and well-being of the people, stressing that his remarkable contribution to the development of Asaba, which earned him the title of Ikemba Ahaba from the late Asagba of Asaba, Prof Chike Edozien, would not be forgotten in a hurry.
The LGA PDP Chairman said the party under his watch was happy and proud to identify with the Council Chairman and urged him to strive to surpass his first tenure achievements.
Ogbueshi Okonji solicited increased support for the new Council administration, assuring them that Dr. Ezenyili would work in tandem with the MORE agenda of the Oborevwori administration.
