The Board of Directors, management, and staff of the Warri, Uvwie and Environs Special Area Development Agency, (WUEDA), have joined other Deltans to celebrate the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, who turned 65 today.
A statement jointly signed by the Chairman of WUEDA’s Board Of Directors, Dr. Joseph Otumara, and the Director General of the Agency, Prince Godwin Ejinyere, says it was ingenious of the former Governor to have created WUEDA, an Agency aimed at mitigating the perennial flooding that had devastated the Oil City for years, through the award and execution of storm water drainage and road projects in its mandate areas.
The duo noted that the Agency had also helped to sanitize the environment in all its mandate areas, for which residents would ever be grateful to the ex-Governor, described the measure as an unprecedented evidence of “finishing strong” policy, and SMART Agenda of the former Governor.
Dr. Otumara and Hon. Ejinyere prayed God to grant the “Ekwueme” more knowledge, wisdom, good health, and long life to further serve God and humanity.
