The member representing the Ndokwa Ukwuani Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Rt. Hon Nnamdi Ezechi, has described the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, as a consummate leader with enduring legacies.
Hon Ezechi stated this in a congratulatory message to his mentor who turned 65 on Monday, July 8, 2024.
The Federal Lawmaker noted that as former Commissioner in the state, Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and two-time Governor of Delta State, the legacies of Dr Okowa would continue to speak for him for a long time to come
He said the political family raised by the former Governor on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state and Nigeria at large, had remained strong adding more value to the system.
Hon Ezechi stated that Okowa’s believe in mentoring upcoming politicians and gender balance in politics was quite remarkable, pointing out that the former Governor’s role in his political career would not be forgotten in a hurry.
The Member, House of Reps wished Dr Okowa many happy returns of his birth anniversary and prayed God to continue to keep him strong and healthy for more services to the state, the country and humanity.
