Delta State Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Hon Samuel Oligida has called for continued support and partnership with the state government in the implementation of its policies and programmes.
Hon Oligida made the call in Asaba, when he and the Rector of the Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara, Professor Emmanuel Biri and the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Mr Nkem Nwaeke, co-hosted their classmates of 98’, Mass Communication Department, Delta State University, Abraka.
Addressing members who pride themselves as Indomitable Class 98′ Mass Communication Department of Delta State University, Abraka, the Commissioner said he was indeed proud to be part of the set of students who had become achievers in the society and very outstanding in their chosen careers.

Hon. Oligida, who is also the Supervising Commissioner, Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, stressed that as alumni, who had risen to become great men and women of influence, they must not forget to give back to their alma mater; adding that the training they received as students helped to shape their present status.
While commending the Indomitable Class 98′ for the visit and honour done him and others, the Commissioner enjoined his former course mates to support the Oborevwori administration in promoting education, agriculture, as well as attracting investment to the state.
He urged them to continue to maintain the bond of unity which had existed between them over the years.
For his part, the Rector of the Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara, Professor Emmanuel Biri; also a member of the indomitable Class 98, expressed gratitude to God for His divine elevation which had made them important personalities in society.



Prof. Biri, whose joy knew no bounds, also thanked members of his firmer course mates for their continued show of love for one another and prayed God to sustain and elevate them.
Another member of the Indomitable Class 98 and Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Mr Nkem Nwaeke, pointed out the need for all to remain good ambassadors of the class, even as he expressed gratitude to God for bringing them thus far.
Mr Nwaeke paid glowing tributes to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and the Speaker of the Delta State Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, as well as Governor Siminayali Fubura of River State, who appointed one of them, Dr Boniface Onyedi as his Senior Special Assistant, Media, for finding them worthy to serve in the various capacities.

He expressed the hope for an early reunion party, to bring together all members of the Indomitable Class to celebrate God’s grace upon each and everyone of them.
Some members of the Indomitable Class 98 who spoke including, a Lecturer at the Dennis Osadebay University, Dr. Patrick Edema, the Dean, School of ICT, Delta State Polytechnic Ogwashi-Uku, Dr. Emmanuel Akpoveta, a Special Assistant to Governor of Delta State, Mr Kingsley Okiroro, a retired Deputy General Manager, DBS Asaba, Mr Lawrence Okpewho and Mrs Mary Amechi Ofuokwu, among others, lauded the achievements members had recorded so far and thanked God for the success stories.
They prayed for more open doors for membersvand stressed the need for all to prepare for the reunion of the class .

The visit was climaxed with the presentation of gifts to Hon. Samuel Oligida and Professor Emmanuel Biri.
