IMPENDING LOCAL GOVT ELECTIONS IN DELTA STATE – Caveat Emptor

My attention has been drawn to stories and phone calls making the rounds that His Excellency, Rt.Hon.Elder Sheriff Francis Orowhedor Oborevwori, the Executive Governor of Delta State, has mandated my office to look into “alleged grievances” emanating from the PDP congresses across the state.

For the avoidance of any doubts, this is to personally inform all party members and the general public that there is no IOTA OF TRUTH in these stories. This is a further attempt by fraudsters and perhaps a jittery opposition to cast aspersions on the SANCTITY OF OUR ELECTORAL PROCESSES IN DELTA STATE.

My name had also been linked to promises of political appointments for certain individuals in the state, with the intention of defrauding them, which had been repeatedly refuted in the media.

May I use this opportunity to advice members of the public to be wary of the activities of fraudsters who are on the prowl to mislead or swindle them, using my name and office.
