Over two hundred widows, at the weekend, gathered at the newly furnished Widow’s Care Centre in Abavo, to receive their Father in the Lord, Prophet Joseph Igbodo, who came with food items for them.

ImProphet Igbodo, the revered General Overseer of the Divine Faith Evangelical Mission International, also known as, Deliverance Ministry, was highly delighted to be with the widows, whom he said were special in their own rights and loved by God.

The renowned preacher, philanthropist and proprietor of Job’s Orphanage and St. Stephen’s Trust Widows Home, Agbor, distributed 40 cartons of indomie, 29 cartons of biscuits, 43 rolls of tissue paper and other items to the widows.

In his sermon, Rev. Sunday Ugbaje, who spoke on the topic, “Serving God With Gladness”, with a text from Deuteronomy 28:47-48, enjoined the widows to always be happy in serving God, in order to tap from divine blessings and make progress in life.

Rev Ugbaje said, “The reason our Daddy always tell you to rob powder and dress well to this gathering is because he wants you to serve God with joy. Anyone who serves God with bitterness will never experience the joy of the Lord. This is why many people keep struggling in life. God prospers you when you are serving him joyfully”.

He said their best clothes were not for attending burials or meetings, but for the activities of the church, revealing that they were all wives of God, even as he charged them to believe in the ability of God to do all things, always pray for and bless their children and not rain curses on them

According to him, “Anyone who refuses to serve God with happiness can’t see the goodness of God. Whenever you are motivated to jump, clap or dance by the man of God, he did that for God to bless you.

“Serve God with gladness, so that you will not suffer what others suffered. Happiness brings the presence of God to you. When God remembers you, everyone will have no choice than to remember you for good.

“Today, Abavo land is remembered because God remembers you. Your presence has made God to use Prophet Igbodo to erect this mansion for you. If it were to be politicians who remembered you, they would have stopped visiting you by now but Prophet Igbodo does not relent in visiting you with provisions. God has indeed remembered you.

“When you think of good things, goodness will definitely come your way. The journey of building this centre started nine months ago. This is enough for you to start preaching the gospel. Anything about God is always good, that is why His word is called good news.

“There is the presence of God in Prophet Igbodo’s ministry. He didn’t gather you to cajole or defraud you. You are witnesses of God’s goodness in this place. Please, spread the good news”.

On his part, Prophet Joseph Igbodo expressed gratitude to God for the gift of life, saying that he was glad to fellowship with the widows, as their presence always encouraged him.

He also appreciated the Guest Speaker for the power packaged and explosive word delivery, positing that revival had come to Abavo.

“I want to thank God that He has answered your prayers concerning the building of your centre. Don’t relent in your prayer for our kitchen to get ready. After flooring the ground with rug, we will proceed to build the kitchen”.

“Suffering is a stealer of one’s beauty. It makes people to look ugly. At this your age, you are not to push wheelbarrow or engagements in rigorous farming. This is why God gathers you here to feed you. This is your time to arise and shine. God wants to heal and beautify your life. God wants to keep supplying you with provisions”, he declared.

The widows sang, danced and prayed fervently for Prophet Igbodo and his entourage, which climaxed the visit.
