On Thursday, March 28, 2024, widows in Umunede, Idumuesah and Alifekede, in Ika South and Ika North East Local Government Areas of Delta State received rice, tubers of yam and other food items from Prophet Joseph Igbodo, in fulfillment of his last week’s promise to empower 1,000 widows in Ika land.

Statistics from the previous dsy’s programme showed that 400 widows in Abavo and 200 others in Owa-Oyibu benefitted from the gesture, while 230 at Umunede, 50 at Alifekede and 176 at Idumuesah benefitted from Thursday’s outing making it a total of 1,056 widows.

The widows could not hold back their joy, as they sang and danced to the glory of God at the sight of Prophet Igbodo.

The man of God in turn joined them in the dance floor and onlookers had to choice than to peep at the supply of provisions to them by Prophet Igbodo. What a day to remember, ruminated by the widows!

He was accompanied by Rev. Prof. Oke Akokotu, who likened his benevolence to Jesus’ in the book of Acts 10:38, as he enjoined the widows to keep praying for him.

Prophet Joseph Igbodo is the Founder and General Overseer of the Divine Faith Evangelical Ministry Int’l, as well as the proprietor of Job’s Orphanage and St. Stephen’s Trust Widows’ Home, all in Agbor
