The Founder and General Overseer of the Divine Faith Evangelical Ministry Int’l, Agbor, also known as Deliverance Ministry, Prophet Joseph Igbodo, has taken his philanthropy to widows in Abavo and Owa-Oyibu, ahead of the Easter celebrations.
Prophet Igbodo, who reached out to the widows on Wednesday, March 27, said he was also concerned about the effect of the prevailing economic situation on the widows.
He distributed rice to over four hundred widows at Abavo, in Ika South Local Government Area and to over two hundred others at Owa-Oyibu, in Ika North East Local Government Area.
The kind gesture of the seasoned preacher, who is also the proprietor of Job’s Orphanage and St. Stephen’s Trust Widows Home, both in Agbor, exemplified practical and genuine love of Christ Jesus, while his perception of Christianity is rooted in sacrificial giving.
While sharing the word of God with the widows, Prophet Igbodo emphasized that Christianity was indeed actionable and should be backed up by solid evidence of good deeds.
Prophet Igbodo stated, “God has changed your story for good. What is love without proof? God is love and love is godly. Love is built on sacrificial giving. That is why God gave us his son, Jesus. Jesus in turn accomplished the love by allowing himself to die for us on the cross of Calvary.
“This love of God is what we have brought to you today. I’m always grateful to God on your behalf. Jesus is reigning because of love. This act of practical love, we will continue to uphold and express”.
While wishing them a lovely and blissful Easter celebration, he enjoined them to keep showing love to others in the society, assuring them of God’s blessings through their benevolent acts.
Prophet Igbodo prayed God to prosper the widows in all aspects of life.
