OBOREVWORI APPOINTS BOARD CHAIRMEN, MEMBERS

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has approved the appointment of Chairmen and members of the Boards of some establishments in the state.

According to a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Kingsley Emu, the Delta State Library Board has Barr. Innocent Ogboru as Chairman, with Ejiro Okumugba, Princess Okiemute Dukuye and Okonweze Marlene as members.

The School of Health Technology, Ofoma, has Dr. Chris Oharisi as Chairman, Mrs Sandra Nwani, and Mr Aris Biu as members, while Chief Solomon Areyinka, is the Chairman of the Delta State Urban Water Board, which has Chief CSO Udeme, Mrs Felicia Ororagha, Chief Mrs Florence Oki, Chief Jude Ugbekile, Chief Gladys Agbah Ovie and Hon Joan Oghenero Omuyeh as members.

The 10-man Board of the Delta Development and Property Authority (DDPA) has Chief Tony Oboroh as Chairman.

The members are Engr Yobo Ideh, Chief Dennis Aboki, Hon Iboyitete Margaret, Mrs Patience Aginna, Dr. Lucky Avweromre, Mrs Lucky Amayor, Giweze Friday, Mrs Tessy Furubi and Emma Ikomi.

Also appointed is Dr. Paul Oweh as Chairman, Hospitals Management Board, with Dr. Lucky Otegheri, Dr Henry Ndu Okonye, Mrs Rita Omimi Esquire, Mr Clifford Ivwrighren, and Mr Lawrence Okumpu as members, while the Institute of Continuing Education has Mrs Florence Omini Johnson as Chairman, with Owotowo Jeremiah, Mrs Patience Agbigbe and Mr Ojei Okoh as members.

Philo Apena is the Chairman, Technical and Vocational Education Board, which has Florence Awenuvie as member and Mr Stanley Eruemulor as Executive Secretary.

Delta Printing and Publishing Company, owners of the Pointer titles, has Dr Ebenezer Okorodudu as Chairman.

The members are Mr Osemeke Mosinde, Passman Sibisaba, Nmor Chichael and Patricia Idjerhe.

The date for the inauguration of the appointees will be announced in due course.
