A PDP chieftain in Oshimili South Local Government Area and Executive Assistant to Governor Sheriff Oborevwiei on Community Development, Hon Taju Isichei, popularly called IKUKU, has felicitated his Principal on his historic triple victory at the Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Asaba.
Hon Isichei, in a congratulatory message on behalf of the people of ward 5, Umuaji, Asaba, said to win three different cases at a time was not a mean feat, attributing it to the mercy and grace of God upon the Governor.
He added that the mandate freely given to Oborevwori was divinely rooted and could not be easily taken from him and advised Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, Chief Kenneth Gbagi and Mr Ken Pela not to challenge who God had ordained to lead the state at this time in history.
The Governor’s aide thanked the Tribunal for the rulings, which he noted were in tandem with the will of the people of Delta state, saying that the three-man panel of the Tribunal had proved that the judiciary could still be trusted even in the face of the myriad of challenges plaguing the country.
Hon Isichei urged the Governor to remain resolute in his avowed determination to advance Delta with the MORE agenda of his administration and called on Deltans to see the Tribunal victories as a moral booster to the present administration and give their support.
