Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, ward 5, Umuaji Asaba, in Oshimili South Local Government Area, has congratulated its leader, Hon Taju Isichei, on his appointment as Executive Assistant to Governor Sheriff Oborevwiei on Community Development.
The ward, in a statement issued by its Chairman, Ogbueshi Chinedu Nwokolo, said the appointment was a mark of appreciation for the great support it had given the party in all elections conducted in the state.
Ogbueshi Nwokolo particularly noted that Hon Taju Isichei played a key role in mobilizing members of the ward for the last general election, adding that he was in the forefront of support for Governor Sheriff Oborevwiei.
He thanked the Governor for identifying and rewarding those who truly worked for the party, even as he made a case for more appointments from the ward.
The Ward Chairman assured the Governor that Umuaji would remain a stronghold of PDP and pledged continued support for his administration.
