The Chief of Staff, Government House, Hon Johnson Erijo, has congratulated the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa, on his 64th birth anniversary.
Erijo, in a message of felicitations, said Okowa exemplified humility, transparency, selfless service and father figure, which were the guiding principles that accounted for the success story of his administration.
The Chief of Staff particularly noted that the Okowa administration built bridges of peace among the various ethnic nationalities of the state, transformed the state with landmark infrastructural projects, especially roads and meaningfully engaged thousands of youths in life changing entrepreneurship programmes.
He thanked God for the life of Senator Okowa and for the many lives he has touched in several ways as former Local Government Chairman, Commissioner, Secretary to the State Government, Senator and Governor.
Erijo prayed God to grant the celebrant good health and long life to enable him contribute more to the growth and development of the society.
