Miss Ejikeme Mmesoma, a student of Anglican Girls’ Secondary School, Nnewi, Anambra state, alleged to have forged the result of the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has released a strong evidence against JAMB to prove her innocence.
Mmesoma, while speaking on the disputed result on Monday, unveiled the original copy she printed from JAMB portal.
The student said she was traumatized by JAMB’S claim, as she lacked the capacity to forge the result.
Mmesoma, who revealed that she was invited to a police station to make a statement, where she was told that her case was being investigated, said she had been a brilliant student from her primary school days.
JAMB had, on Sunday, claimed that the student who was widely celebrated for scoring the highest mark of 362 in the just concluded UTME, actually scored 249 in the examination.
The Board, in a statement by its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, alleged that Mmesoma tampered with the original result to seek favour from the public and announced that the result would be withdrawn, while Mmesoma would be prosecuted.
