The Independent Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has distanced itself from an alleged plan to increase the pump price of petrol to N700 per litre.
The Southwest zone Chairman of the association, Alhaji Dele Tajudeen, who refuted the allegation on Friday in Ibadan in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria, urged Nigerians to disregard the rumour and desist from panic buying.
Tajudeen assured that the pump price of petrol would remain within the present range and commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for removing the fuel subsidy, which he said was long overdue.
