Muslims in Ndokwa land have been urged to love one another and relate well with others, irrespective of tribe or religion.
The Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency House of Representatives member-elect, Hon Nnamdi Ezechi, who made the call in a congratulatory message to Muslims on the occasion of the commemoration of Eid-el-Fitr, said there were significant spiritual lessons to draw from the month of Ramadan.
Hon Ezechi, who also congratulated Muslim Members-elect and Senators-elect of the 10th National Assembly on the occasion, stated that the successful completion of the Ramadan Fast brought to the fore the lessons of sacrifice, humility, obedience, love, peace and tolerance, stressing that all these were needed to guarantee oneness and peaceful coexistence.
He called on Muslims to pray for a successful transition of power to the new administrations at the national level and the states.
The House of Representatives member-elect used the opportunity to thank the Muslim community in Ndokwa land for voting for PDP in the Governorship and House of Assembly elections and assured them that the incoming administration would be equitable, fair and just to them and other non Indigenes in the area and the state at large.
