EASTER: Taju Isichei Urges Oshimili South People To Commit To Prayer For A Better Deal With Incoming Administration

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Oshimili South local government area, Hon Taju Isichei, has called on the people of the area to use the Easter celebration to draw closer to God.

Hon Isichei, in a message to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, said His crucifixion on the cross of Calvary for the sake of man was symbolic of the love of God, who sacrificed His only begotten son to redeem mankind from sin.

He stated that the only way to appreciate Jesus Christ’s supreme prize was to avoid sin and acts inimical to the Christian faith, stressing that fervent prayer was key to living Christ-like life, which epitomized love and peace.

The PDP chieftain, who is also an Executive Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters, said the people of Oshimili South were desirous of more dividends of democracy under the incoming administration, but needed to be prayerful to make things work.

Hon Isichei said the incoming Oborevwori administration also needed the prayer and support of the people to succeed, adding that the well-being of Oshimili South should be the concern of all Indigenes and residents of the area.

He prayed for God’s protection and guidance on all the people of Oshimili South and wished them a happy Easter celebration.
