No fewer than ten members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, have been fingered in alleged anti party activities in Oshimili South local government area during the February 25 and March 18 elections.

The LGA Party Chairman, Ogbueshi Dada Okonji, who disclosed this but did not mention names, said a disciplinary committee had been set up to investigate those suspected to have worked against the party in the elections.

He said the outcome of the investigation would determine those to be sanctioned, as the party in the area would not want to place the cart before the horse on the issue.

Dada Okonji thanked all who contributed to the victory of the party in Oshimili South, which he said was the third local government area in the state with the highest number of votes in the Governorship election.

The Party Chairman used the occasion to congratulate the State Governor-elect, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme and the Oshimili South House of Assembly member-elect, Barr Bridget Anyafulu, on the issuance of their Certificates of Return by INEC.
