Executive Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters and a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Oshimili South Local Government Area, Hon Taju Isichei, has congratulated Delta State Governor-elect, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, on his resounding victory in the just concluded Governorship election in the state.
Hon Isichei, in a congratulatory message to Oborevwori, described his victory, subsequent declaration and return by INEC as an act of God and a good omen for the state.
He said the capacity and capability of the Governor-elect and his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme, were not in doubt, adding that the massive support of Deltans for the PDP was instructive of the fact that the leader of the party, who is also the State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, had done well beyond expectations.
The former Special Adviser to Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan on Inter-Party Relations, who delivered his ward 5 unit 6 to the PDP, in the election, also congratulated the Oshimili South Constituency member-elect of the Delta State House of Assembly, Barr Bridget Anyafulu, on her victory.
He prayed God to grant the Governor-elect and Anyafulu robust health, the political will and wisdom to discharge their duties when sworn-in and assured Deltans, as well as the people of Oshimili South that their expectations would be met by the incoming administration.
