Delta State Commissioner for Lands and Surveys, Barr (Mrs) Kate Onianwa, has described the State Governor-elect, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, as a man endowed with the grace of God.
Mrs Onianwa, in a congratulatory message to the Governor-elect, recalled how the journey that culminated to his victory at the polls started, noting that all the odds in the way of the process were subdued and the will of God prevailed in the end.
The Lands Commissioner also congratulate the State Governor, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa, for delivering the state to the PDP, and wondered what would have become of the state if victory had gone to the opposition.
She prayed God to grant the Governor-elect the wisdom and political will to pilot the affairs of the state beyond where Governor Okowa would finish strong, to be able to meet the yearnings of Deltans for more development.
Mrs Onianwa, whose Oshimili North local government area produced the highest number of votes for the PDP in the Governorship election, thanked party leaders, faithful and supporters in the area for appreciating the good works of the Governor and the party with their votes and assured them that things would get better for it.
