Agents of the various political parties were present and they expressed satisfaction with the seamless process.

The Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. State Finance Commissioner, Okenmo Fidelis Tilije, who voted in unit 7, told our news crew that the election went on smoothly in all the communities in Ukwuani LGA, except Amai, which recorded an incident that led to the postponement of the election.
Tilijie, who was PDP Campaign Coordinator of Ukwuani LGA, thanked the people of the area for coming out in their large numbers to vote for candidates of their choice and expressed optimism that PDP would win the Governorship election, while urging INEC to sustain the improvement recorded in the exercise till the end with the announcement of the correct results.

At Oria Abraka ward 3 polling units, in Ethiope East, voting had ended and sorting of ballots commenced about 1pm when our crew visited.

A former State Organizing Secretary of the PDP and Commissioner for Primary Education, Chief Sunday Onoriode, after casting his votes, scored INEC high in the conduct of the polls, stating that his party and the opposition were committed to having a hitch free exercise in the ward.

He urged INEC to ensure that the results of the election were not tampered with, as was the case with the February 25 election.
Our crew was also at Abbi ward 9 polling station, in Ndokwa West, where voting had ended and sorting/counting of ballots about to commence when we arrived.
