The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has announced the results of Saturday’s Governorship election from 18 of the 25 local government areas of Delta state.
The results, which were sent in by the Electoral and Collation Officers of the respective LGAs, were announced at the collation centre in the INEC headquarters, Asaba.
PDP has won in 15 local government areas, while the APC is trailing far behind with 3 LGAs.
Labour Party has yet to win in any local government area.
The ruling party won in Ika North East, Aniocha North, Ndokwa East, Ika South, Patani, Sapele, Aniocha South, Okpe, Bomadi, Ethiope East, Ethiope West, Oshimili North, Oshimili South, Isoko North and Warri South, while APC won in Udu, Uvwie and Ughelli South.
