An illustrious son of Aniocha North and State Coordinator of the United Opposition for Good Governance, Mr Emeka Umerah Bidokwu, has solicited support for the re-election bid of the member representing the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Ndudi Elumelu.
Bidokwu, who is the State Chairman of Action Alliance (AA) and the Inter Party Advisory Council, IPAC, in a statement issued in Asaba, said present day realities in the political space had made it imperative that constituents should throw their weight behind politicians known to be delivering on their mandates, irrespective of political affiliations.
He noted that Elumelu, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate for the February 25 Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency House of Representatives election had endeared himself to the people through effective representation and impactful empowerment programmes.
The United Opposition for Good Governance State Coordinator said the Reps Minority Leader had spread his constituency projects across the four local government areas in Aniocha/Oshimili, adding that every community in the Federal Constituency had benefitted from Elumelu’s representation.
Bidokwu stated that one way to encourage anyone doing well was to appreciate the good works to enable him or her do more, stressing that the only appreciation deserving of the Minority Leader was to re-elect him to the Green Chamber.
He maintained that Elumelu had done the people of Aniocha North proud hence he was drumming support for him, despite the fact that they were not in the same political party.
The State IPAC Chairman urged the people of Aniocha/Oshimili to vote enmasse for Ndudi Elumelu in the February 25 election, describing him as a promise keeper and a capacity leader.
