The General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, DCLM, Pastor William Kumuyi, has charged youth to realize that they are wonderfully made for excellence, understand the purpose of their existence on earth and focus on achieving it..

Pastor Kumuyi, who gave the charge while speaking at a global youth programme, ‘IMPACT Academy, with the theme: Wonderfully Made for Excellence, in continuation of the ongoing Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) tagged Unforgettable Encounter With the God of Wonders in Asaba, said God made man in His image and likeness, stressing that man should be fearless, even in the face of the most challenging moments in life.

The GS, who copiously quoted the relevant scriptural texts, reminded Christians that from creation, God gave man dominion over all other creatures, but noted that natural disasters like earthquakes, tornadoes, pandemics, among others, had made it seem the world was now had dominion over man.

He said scientists and researchers were working daily to better understand how some parts of the human body worked, but had yet to come to a conclusion on why some persons were quite different from others.

The renowned evangelist noted that every man was formed by the inspiration of the creator, deformed by inventions of corruption but now transformed by the intervention of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Kumuyi urged youths to remain focused on God, their creator, so that they would not be victims of the antics of the devil, which would stop them from achieving God’s purpose and plans for them.

He urged Christians to be steadfast in studying the word of God so as not to fall victims of the wrong teachings of the world, stressing that an unclean heart could lead to unclean actions and unclean habits.

Some participants described the GS’s message as timely, especially in view of the moral decadence now plaguing the society and the need to reorientate the youths through the teachings of the word of God.

The youth IMPACT programme, which took place at the Cenotaph, Asaba, was attended by notable leaders of the church, students of secondary and tertiary institutions, as well as young professionals.

It featured spoken words, robotic exhibition, question and answer session.

The six-day Global Crusade, which is being organized by the Deeper Christian Life Ministries, in conjunction with the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, and other Christian Blocs in Delta state, began on Thursday and will end on Tuesday next week.
