Executive Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters and former PDP House of Assembly aspirant for the Oshimili South Constituency, Hon Taju Isichei, has called on the people of Oshimili South to use the commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ, which Christmas signifies, to pray for the success of next year’s general election.

Hon Isichei, also known as Ikuku, made the call in his Christmas message to the people of Oshimili South, and indeed Deltans.

He said though the year 2022 was hard on the people due to the hyper inflationary rate, loss of jobs, unemployment and insecurity occasioned by the misrule of the APC – led federal government, those who saw the year to this point and had lived to celebrate another Christmas had every reason to thank God.

The PDP chieftain urged all eligible Oshimili South indigenes yet to collect their Permanent Voter’s Cards, PVCs, to do so to be able to vote for candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who were set to rescue Nigeria if given the mandate.

Hon Isichei prayed God to see his people to the end of the year in happiness and good health, and to grant them, Deltans and indeed Nigerians, a prosperous new year.
