
Having successfully hosted the ward to ward campaign for the 2023 general election, the Ndokwa East PDP, through its Campaign Council on Wednesday commenced community based campaign with visit to ward 6 Onyah/Umuolu/Adia Obiaka/Warri-irri/Okpokrika/Afiankwo.

Addressing party faithful, the LGA Chairman of PDP, Chief Vincent Osilonya, said the communities had a great role to play in securing victory for the party in the elections
He urged party faithful in all the communities to move from house to house to canvass support for all PDP candidates, stressing that efforts should be intensified to win more members to the party to guarantee high number of votes.

In his remarks, the Ndokwa East PDP Campaign Coordinator, Elder Chike Ugwummadu, thanked members of ward 6 for their support in previous elections and urged them to sustain the tempo to ensure a landslide victory for the party in the forthcoming elections.

Also speaking, the Deputy Campaign Coordinator and DESOPADEC Commissioner representing the area, Hon Azaka Ossai, noted that the people of ward 6 were genuinely committed to sustaining the winning streak of the party, and assured them of more dividends of democracy in the next political dispensation..
On his part, the PDP Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency House of Representatives candidate, Hon Nnamdi Ezechi, called on the electorate to vote massively for PDP 5/5 in all national and state elections in 2023.

He said with Atiku and Okowa, Sheriff and Onyeme, Ned Nwoko, himself and Prince Emeka Osamuta in the ballots, the Ndokwa nation would experience tremendous development, while the country would be rescued from the maladministration of the APC government.
The Ndokwa East House of Assembly candidate, Prince Osamuta, thanked ward 6 and promised that he would not fail the people if voted to power.

Some party leaders and faithful in the ward, including Hon Shedrack Opiah, Prince Okwokwo, Barr Nnamdi Osadebe, Engr Stanley Tabowei, Bright Enueshike and Mrs Onalugbum appealed to the state government to construct road and shore protection in the area to justify their support for the party.
