MUCH AWAITED ASABA INTERCHANGE FLYOVER OPENS TO TRAFFIC

The multi-billion naira Interchange Flyover at Koka junction, Asaba, is now open to traffic.

Our correspondent who drove on the bridge on Sunday evening said the usual traffic hold up around the Koka junction had disappeared as motorists heading to or from the Onitsha axis freely used the flyover.

When contacted, the State Commissioner for Information, Mr Charles Aniagwu, said the opening of the Interchange Flyover was in keeping with the promise that the facility and the Leisure Park in Anwai, near Asaba, would be put to use this December, pending when they would be officially commissioned early next year.
