It was a joyful moment at the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps located at Evwreni and Uwheru as Team Ejele for Sheriff donated relief materials to help ease the pains of persons rendered homeless by the ravaging flood.
The Team was led by its Patroness Engr (Chief.) Christabel Obiuwevbi-Omonigho, who thanked the state government for its quick response to the flood disaster and particularly for setting up camps across the state to accommodate and cater for displaced persons.
She sympathized with the displaced persons and assured that the group would continued to support them.
Team Ejele for Sheriff Patroness, who is also an Executive Assistant ( EA) to the Governor on Project Monitoring and Ughelli/Udu Federal Constituency Co-ordinator Of Delta Political Vanguard, reassured the IDPs that the State Governor and Vice Presidential candidate of PDP Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa and the State Gubernatorial candidate of the party, Rt.Hon.Sheriff Oborevwori were deeply concerned about their plight, adding that the PDP family was working earnestly to alleviate their sufferings.
At the Evwreni camp, Engr (Chief) Obiuwevbi-Omonigho and members of her team received the good news of the delivery of four babies in the camp and supported their mothers with cash gifts.
In their separate remarks, the management of the camps expressed gratitude to Team Ejele For Sheriff for putting smiles on their faces and pledged total support for the PDP ahead of the 2023 election.
Engr.(Chief) Christabel Obiuwevbi-Omonigho was accompanied by the Director General of the group, Mr Alex Akporute, Chief of Staff, Ughelli North Local Governnent, Mr Lucky Oborayiruvbe, Mr Apollos Zino Emmanuel, among others.
