Today’s verdict of the nation’s apex court on the appeal filed by a former governorship aspirant of the PDP in Delta state, Olorogun David Edevbie, seeking to disqualify the validly nominated candidate of the party, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, has been described as an act of God

The Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency House of Representatives candidate of the PDP for next year’s election, Hon Nnamdi Ezechi, stated this while speaking with newsmen after the affirmation of Oborevwori ‘s candidacy by the Supreme Court.

Ezechi noted that for anyone to resort to litigations after the people had spoken in a party primary that was transparent and broadcast live on a national television was tantamount to questioning God who had picked Oborevwori among equals.
He commended the judiciary for standing for the truth in the matter, pointing out that the legal victory was for the PDP family and indeed the entire Delta state

Ezechi urged the aggrieved former governorship aspirant to put the judgement behind him and join hands with the PDP governorship candidate to prosecute the election to ensure overwhelming victory for the party in the polls.
