One of Africa’s most talented actors, Enugu-born Pete Edochie and his wife, Josephine, have celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary.
The event took place at the Base Landmark Event Centre, Enugu on Saturday, October 1, 2022.
The anniversary celebration was graced by Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai, among other dignitaries.
Taking to his official Instagram account, the 75-year old legendary Nollywood actor thanked his children; Leo, Adam, Linc, Jean, Yul and Eva, for giving them the biggest party of their lifetime.
“53 years of Marital Bliss with my Queen, Chief (Barr) Mrs Josephine Edochie. Thanks to my Children for hosting us to the biggest party of our lifetime, yes Our LIFE because we are ONE,” he wrote.
Pete got married to his wife Josephine, in 1969 at the age of 22 and the marriage is blessed with six children, five boys (now men) and a girl.
