Leaders and stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ndokwa East Local Governnent Area, have commended the State Governor and leader of the party in the state, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa, for giving the party exemplary and transparent leadership.
The commendation is part of the resolutions taken at a meeting of the party leaders and stakeholders, where they applauded the Governor’s constant and consistent assurance of a level playing ground for all the aspirants in the forthcoming party primaries.
The party leaders unanimously resolved to project and support a competent and qualified Ndokwa East aspirant for the Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives.
They hailed the stand of their Ndokwa West and Ukwuani LGA counterparts in accepting that Ndokwa East should produce a candidate for the 2023 Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency House of Representatives election.
The leaders described the two Ndokwa East aspirants; Chief Ugo Nwokolo, also known as Overdo and Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi as humble and respectful young men, assuring that Ndokwa East would produce a vibrant, intelligent, resourceful, versatile and competent candidate that would effectively represent Ndokwa/Ukwuani people in the National Assembly when elected.
The resolution was signed by Chief Emma Onyeukwu, Dr. Ogaranya Tabowei, Omordi George Ugbomah, Prof. A. A. Osakwe, Chief Ifeanyi Onwukamike, Hon. (Barr) Sam Chukwuji, Hon. (Elder) Chike Ugwummadu, Hon. Alex Aniche, Chief Ifeanyi Oputa, and Chief Johnmark Nwawolo.
Others are Chief Edward Olisenekwu, Barr Nnamdi Osadebe, Mr. Ken Ebuekwu, Chief Kriss Oputa, Chief A. J. E. Obodoeshike and Chief London Onwuka.
The meeting was attended by over 30 leaders from across the 10 wards in Ndokwa East.
