2023: NO ROOM FOR IZEZE’S 3RD TERM BID – Concerned Ughelli South Youths

Concerned Ughelli South Youths For Equity and Justice has vowed to resist any attempt to impose Hon Reuben Izeze on the people of Ughelli South to represent the constituency for a third term in the Delta State House of Assembly.

Chairman and Secretary of the group, Mr John Diakparomre and Mr Emma Ejovwokiniovo, said, in a statement, that the people of Ughelli South deserved a resourceful, humble and very accessible representative in the House of Assembly in 2023.

The statement read: “We strongly advise the leaders and people of Ughievwen to desist from the evil plot to sponsor the incumbent, Hon Reuben Yakubu Izeze, for a third term.

“Third term is against the noble tradition of Ughelli South. Senator Pius Ewherido of blessed memory did two terms (8years) and handed over to Olorogun Taleb Tebite who served two terms (8years).

“Tebite wanted a third term to make it 12years but failed because you never supported it. Now this same Ughievwen people who refused to support Tebite for a third term are same people clamoring for Izeze because he has promised to make their wives Special Assistants and Personal Assistants. They are the ones consulting people for him now” .
