TAJU ISICHEI GETS PDP’S NOD TO CONTEST IN STATE ASSEMBLY PRIMARY ELECTION

A former Special Adviser to Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan on Inter Party Relations, Hon. Taju Isichei, also known as IKUKU, has been provisionally cleared to contest in the 2022 House of Assembly primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Hon. Isichei, who is aspiring to represent the Oshimili South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly come 2023, was issued a Provisional Clearance Certificate signed by the National Chairman of PDP, Dr. Iyorcha Ayu, the National Secretary, Barr. Samuel Anyanwu; the National Organizing Secretary, Umar Bature and two others.

Speaking to newsmen after picking up the clearance certificate, Hon. Isichei, who gave God all the glory, said his successful screening and clearance was an affirmation that he was good to go with the primary election, which he was hopeful that he would win.

He re – emphasized that Oshimili South deserved the best of representation in the State Assembly and needed a strong voice like his to be able to achieve that because, according to him, “representation in the Legislature is a serious business and Oshimili South cannot afford to go for anyone short of the best”.

The aspirant appealed to Oshimili South delegates to vote for him in the primary election to enable him bear the party’s flag in the 2023 general elections, promising to diligently deliver and carry everyone along if given the mandate.
