A former Executive Assistant to Delta State Governor on Youth Development, Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi, has consulted with the apex sociocultural organisation of the Ndokwa nation, the Ndokwa Neku Union (NNU) over his ambition to contest for the Ndokwa/Ukwuani federal constituency seat in the House of Representatives come 2023.
Ezechi, who was accompanied by his teeming supporters, mostly youths, used the forum to thank the leadership of NNU for dutifully holding the Ndokwa nation together in pursuit of common goals.
He told members of the Union that he was running for the elective position in order to give the Ndokwa/Ukwuani federal constituency efficient and quality representation in the House of Reps because the area deserved a better deal than it currently had.
The House of Representatives hopeful said he had already purchased and submitted the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms, following which he had been screened by the relevant committee of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state.
Ezechi noted that though the Ndokwa Neku Union was a non partisan organisation, it was not out of place to inform the group about his intention to represent the federal constituency, where the members were individually and collectively major stakeholders in the affairs of the Ndokwa nation.
He solicited support and prayers for his aspiration, promising to carry every segment of the Ndokwa/Ukwuani federal constituency along in the scheme of things if given the mandate to represent the constituency.
Responding on behalf of the group, the President General, General Mike Ndubuisi (rtd), thanked Nnamdi Ezechi for the consultative visit, describing him as a humble, active and highly productive young man with the zeal to serve and impact lives.
Gen. Ndubuisi noted that the testimonies of the aspirant’s past engagements were enough to secure the elective position for him and encouraged him to pursue his ambition with determination, while pledging the group’s support.
Ezechi and his team also attended the 25th marriage anniversary of Mr & Mrs Godday Mgbabego and the birthday party of a PDP chieftain at Emu Obodoetti, in Ndokwa West Local Government Area,
