Delta State Commissioner for Energy, Engr. Jonathan Ukodhiko, has congratulated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and Deltans, on the 30th anniversary of the creation of the state.
The Commissioner in a statement personally signed by him, said Deltans had every reason to celebrate with the Governor on the auspicious occasion.
‘On behalf of management and staff of the Ministry of Energy, I heartily felicitate with our amiable boss, Sen. (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State and the good people of the state, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary celebration of the creation of Delta State, by former Military President, General Ibrahim Babagida, on August 27, 1991.
“It is indeed a momentous occasion, as the 30th anniversary of the creation of Delta State coincided with the second tenure of our party leader, Sen. (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa, who since the inception of his second tenure, has amplified the socioeconomic development of the state, through his smart agenda”, he said.
Ukodhiko used the opportunity of the celebration of the anniversary to appeal to the people of the state to rededicate themselves to the sustainable human capital development programme of the administration Okowa administration.
The Commissioner prayed God to continue to give Okowa the wisdom and protection needed to effectively serve humanity and lead Delta State.
