ONOGBA FELICITATES WITH AMORI AT 69

Delta Commissioner for Environment, Mr Chris Onogba, has felicitated with his political father, Chief Ighoyota Amori, on the occasion of his 69th  birth anniversary.

Onogba, in a statement, said Amori, a grassroots politician and founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), had revolutionized politics with his believe that the younger ones should grow in the game.

He noted that Amori had, over the years, mentored him to political relevance, which had culminated in his being a Commissioner and member of the State Executive Council.

Onogba said the celebrant had not only contributed to the growth of the PDP family in Delta State, but also remained a loyal and humble party man who served diligently to deliver on the mandates of the offices he occupied in the past, particularly as Commissioner for Education as well as Water Resources Development.

The Environment Commissioner described Amori as an illustrious son of the Urhobo nation, adding that he had played key roles in advancing the socio – economic and political well – being of the Urhobo ethnic nationality.

He prayed God to grant Amori good health, more fruitful years of service to humanity, the strength and wisdom to accomplish the DC – 23 mandate, as Chairman of the group.
