Former Senior Political Adviser to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Honourable Funkekeme Solomon, has congratulated him on the historic occasion of his birthday.
Funkekeme, also a former Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, thanked God for sustaining Okowa in the past 62 years, describing his life as a testimony of glory to glory.
According to him “The scriptures declare in Isaiah 65: 21- 24 that no one builds for another to inhabit; no one plants a vineyard for another to eat; you build and inhabit; you plant and eat of it. You have built and planted in Delta and no one can deny you the fruits of your dependable service in Delta State.
“You shall long enjoy the works of your hand. Because you have brought joy to majority of Deltans, particularly the poor, God will bless you; He will deliver you in the time of trouble, He will preserve you, He will not deliver you unto the will of your enemies. Ps 41: 1- 2.
“Once again, am proud to be part of your impressive performance as Governor of Delta State, since 2015, and congratulate you, rejoice and thank God with you. God bless you sir. Your path will shine brighter and brighter till the perfect day in Jesus name”.
