Class 93, Department of  Mass Communication, Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo State, has congratulated Mr. Charles Aniagwa on his reappointment as Commissioner and member of the Delta State Executive Council.

The Alumni Association, in a statement signed by its National President, Rev Austen Akhagbeme, described Aniagwa as a pride of the Class, stressing that the association was very proud of his accomplishments.

Rev Akhagbeme noted that the alumni body had closely observed Aniagwu’s performances as Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Governor of Delta State and later Commissioner for Information, pointing out that his reappointment as Commissioner for Information was an affirmation that he did well in earlier assigned responsibilities.

The alumni group’s National President said Aniagwa had not only contributed in no small measure to delivering the dividends of democracy to the people, he had also remained in the forefront of the Stronger Delta vision of the Delta State Government.

He charged the Commissioner to remain a good ambassador of the class.

“We hereby express our joy and felicitation on your recent reappointment into the prestigious Executive Council of the Delta State Government as Commissioner for Information the second time running.

“As former classmates and alumni of the Mass Communication Department, Auchi Polytechnic, we are proud of this giant stride by one of our own and therefore wish you a memorable tenure”. Akhagbeme stated.

The National President on behalf of the alumni association thanked Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for the reappointment of Aniagwu into his cabinet and subsequent reappointment as Commissioner for Information.

Rev Akhagbeme assured Aniagwu of the support of his classmates in achieving more for the state and humanity at large, stressing that as one of the pillars of the Okowa administration in Delta State, he should remain focused and never be distracted.
