PDP NOT UNDER THREAT IN NDOKWA EAST – Chika Ossai

The immediate past Delta State Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Hon Chika Ossai, has enjoined Peoples Democratic Party faithful in Ndokwa East not to worry about the defection of some inconsequential members of the party to opposition APC.

Chika Ossai, in a statements made available to the press,vsaid there was no cause for alarm ,as it had been in the character of those concerned to be driven by self interest by shifting camps at will.

He added that PDP remained one indivisible family in the state and could hardly be threatened by those who believed that politics was all about negotiating personal interest rather than the well-being of the people.

While commending the people of Ndokwa East for their unwavering support for the Okowa administration, the former Commissioner appealed to leaders to always be sure of the character and credibility of persons seeking to serve as party officials before electing them to the party executive. 

Chika Ossai particularly advised the defectors to have a rethink as PDP remained one big umbrella that could accommodate everyone willing to come back to the party.

He maintained that the defection of a few individuals in Ndokwa East from PDP to APC would not distract the party from diligently serving the interest of the people, adding that the party would not condone disloyalty and unfaithfulness from any of its members.
