DELTA STATE LOCAL GOVT SERVICE COMMISSION TO HOLD JULY 2021 PROMOTION INTERVIEWS

Over one thousand eligible staff of the Delta  State Unified  Local Government Service have been invited to July 2021 Promotion interviews.

The invitation letter signed for the Commission’s Chairman, Hon. Joseph Otirhue, by the Deputy Director of Administration, Dr. Julius Oteme, says the exercise will hold for 10 days between 6th July and 27th July, 2021 at the premises  of the Local Government Service Commission, DBS road, Asaba.

All Heads of Personnel Management and Establishment Officers have been urged to inform affected officers to come on dates scheduled for them with the original/photocopies of all relevant credentials as they will not be attended to if they do otherwise.

Officers are advised to dress properly in line with the civil service dress code as improper dressing will not be allowed. 

They are also expected to stay safe and protect others by maintaining proper social distance of two metres from each other, ensuring proper use of face mask and sticking to the rules approved  by the Federal Government and Medical experts, as individual responsibilities will help curb the spread of the COVID-19 virus. 

Nursing mothers are advised to leave their babies and toddlers at home or come with  babysitters who will take care of their babies during the interview. 

The Administrative Officer Cadre,Programme Analyst Cadre, Statistician  Cadre, Data Processing Officer Cadre, Confidential  Secretary Cadre and Secretarial Assistant Cadre are scheduled to have their promotion interview on 6th July 2021 while  the Accountant  Cadre will be attended to on the 2nd and 3rd days of the exercise.

Executive Officer (Administration) Cadre and Executive Officer (Accounts) Cadre will take their turn on day 4, 13th July, while Legal Officer Cadre, Legislative Officer Cadre, Information Officer Cadre, Legislative Assistant Cadre, Assistant Information Officer Cadre, Planning Officer Cadre, Social Welfare  Officer Cadre, Agric Officer Cadre, Fisheries Officer Cadre, Livestock Officer Cadre, Livestock Superintendent Cadre, Agric  Superintendent Cadre, Wireless  Radio Superintendent Cadre, Computer Assistant Cadre, Revenue Superintendent Cadre and Market/Motor Park Superintendent Cadre will be attended to on the 14th of July, being the 5th day, just as Community Development Officer Cadre and Community Development Inspector Cadre will be interviewed on the 6th day. 

On the 7th day of the interview being 20th of July, the Education Officer  Cadre, Assistant Education Officer Cadre and Adult Education Officer Cadre will be attended to, while day 8, try 21st July will be the turn of Nursing  Officer Cadre, Medical Records Officer Cadre, Medical Records Technician Cadre, Community Health Officer Cadre, Food Scientific Officer Cadre and Community Health Extension Worker Cadre will be interviewed.

Day 9 of the exercise, being 22nd July, Health Educator Cadre, Environmental  Health Officer Cadre, Environmental  Health Technician Cadre, Environmental Health Assistant  Cadre, Pharmacy Technician Cadre, Dietician  Cadre,Medical (Science)Laboratory Cadre, Medical Laboratory Technician Cadre and Pharmacist Cadre will be facing the interview panel, while Engineer Cadre, Architect Cadre, Town  Planning Officer Cadre, Technical  Officer Cadre, Technical Assistant Cadre, Works Superintendent Cadre and Senior Deck Staff Cadre will have their interviews on the 27th  of July 2021.
