The member representing Ika North East in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Anthony Elekeokuri, has applauded the role of the Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, in the peace and good governance of the state.
Elekeokuri made the remark in a statement he issued on behalf of his family and people of Ika North East local government area to congratulate the Speaker on his birth anniversary.
The Lawmaker, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Public Accounts, noted that the Speaker, as the Head of the State Legislature, had always shown quality leadership and support for the Okowa administration, which he said accounted for the robust synergy between the Executive and Legislative arms of government.
The Ika North East representative, prayed God to sustain the gift of peace of mind and good health on the Speaker and to grant him more promotions in his journey of life.
Elekeokuri also prayed God to continue to grant Oborevwori the needed strength and wisdom as he pilots the affairs of the Delta State House of Assembly.
