President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of former Super Eagles captain, John Mikel Obi, as Youth Ambassador.
The Stoke City midfielder was appointed Ambassador to inspire young Nigerians towards excellence.
The appointment was announced at an event held at the National Stadium, Surulere Lagos on Friday, which was attended by the Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare.
