It was all smiles and rekindled hope for two Hundred and seventeen widows who benefitted from the outreach programme of Prophet Joseph Igbodo, when he stormed Onicha-Ugbo, in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State.
It was the cleric’s maiden visit to the peaceful agrarian community and there were lots of food items and toiletries which he donated to the widows.
Prophet Igbodo, who was accompanied by some ministers of the gospel, was received at the open field of the Onicha-Ugbo Community Town Hall, venue for the day’s Programme, by the Pastor in charge of the Tabernacle Of Fire Ministries, on Issele-Uku road, and the widows who came from the various quarters in the kingdom.
The religious minister, who is the Founder of the Divine Faith Evangelical Mission International, Agbor, gave the widows 14 bags of rice, 90 cartons of Indomie noddles, 20 cartons of biscuits, 28 cartons of Bobo fruit juice, 10 cartons of caprisone fruit juice, 25 rolls of tissue papers, 15 rolls of cheese ball, 4 cartons of hollandia yougurt, among other items.
He told the gathering that the items did not come from him, but from public spirited individuals and organisations inspired by God.
Prophet Igbodo, who is also the proprietor of Job’s Orphanage and St. Stephen’s Trust Widows Home, both in Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, appreciated the widows for honouring his invitation to the day’s program.
The charismatic preacher congratulated the widows for being among the chosen and urged them to continue in the knowledge of God, emphasizing that God would never fail a widow who solely depended on Him.
He charged them to be fully committed to the services of God in order to continually enjoy peace and benevolence, emphasizing that God who is the husband of widows would adequately take good care of them and their children.
The accomplished clergyman warned the women to desist from patronizing fake pastors who would want to take advantage of their situation to extort money and other valuables from them under the guise of fake visions and prophecies, maintaining that God always answered the prayers of the widows because they were special to Him.
Prophet Igbodo encouraged the widows to always pray for their children and teach them to follow the path of God.
He used the opportunity to appeal to individuals and organisations who would want to identify with his Ministry, the Orphanage or the Widows’ Trust Home, to call 08037452147
The event featured a prayer session where the gathering prayed for God’s protection and blessings for the traditional ruler of Onicha-Ugbo Kingdom and his family and for all sons and daughters of the kingdom.
Prophet Joseph Igbodo was accompanied on the visit by Rev.
