The reappointment of Chief Nkem Okwuofu and Mrs Roseline Amioku as Chairman and member of the Delta State Civil Service Commission has been described as well deserved reward for hard work.
The Chairman of Aniocha North Local Governnent Council, Honourable Chuks Oseme, stated this in a congratulatory message to the duo on their swearing – in for another tenure in office by the State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa.
Oseme said Chief Okwuofu, a native of Obamkpa, in Aniocha north, and Mrs Amioku were female politicians of no mean repute who had contributed meaningfully to the growth and electoral fortunes of the PDP, adding that their stint in the State Civil Service Commission added value to the system hence their reappointment.
He urged the duo to further bring their wealth of knowledge and experience to bear in the discharge of their duties in order to take the State Civil Service to enviable heights.
Oseme noted that Chief Okwuofu and Mrs Amioku had carved nitches for themselves as role models in the game of politics and commended the State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for acknowledging their contributions to the system.
The Local Governnent boss also congratulated Prince Mike Oputa on his swearing – in as a member of the Board of the Commission, describing him as a seasoned journalist and an astute politician who had impacted positively on the society.
He prayed God to continue to guide and protect Prince Oputa in the line of duty and to endow him with the wisdom to meritoriously serve the state.
