The Chairman of Aniocha north local government, Honourable Chuks Oseme, has congratulated Chief Nkem Okwuofu, on her reappointment as Chairman, Delta State Civil Service Commission.
In a statement issued on Monday shortly after the inauguration of Chief Okwuofu, Mrs Roseline Amioku, Lawrence Pemu, Olumami Oyibo and Mike Oputa by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, the Council Chairman also congratulated the Civil Service Commission on the assemblage of a formidable team to run its Affairs.
Oseme noted that the first tenure of Okwuofu as Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission was characterized by success stories, leaving the establishment better than she met it.
He said the Commission under Okwuofu’s watch enthroned discipline, hard work, robust capacity building and welfare packages in the civil service, thereby repositioning the service for greater efficiency and productivity.
The Aniocha North Council Chairman thanked Governor Okowa for finding Okwuofu worthy of reappointment and urged the Chairman to justify the confidence reposed in her by giving renewed and more focused leadership to the Commission.
