A prominent youth mobiliser of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Health Monitoring, Dr. Michael Nwoko, has described the reelection of Chief Kingsley Esiso as State Chairman of PDP in the just concluded Congress of the party as a resounding vote of confidence following his spectacular and marvelous performance during his first tenure.
Dr Nwoko, in a congratulatory message, noted that Esiso and others re-elected with him were complete loyalists to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, who is the leader of the party in Delta State.
He said the prevailing peace in the party over the past years had enabled the Governor to focus on delivering on his campaign promises without distraction, attributing the success of the Chairman in piloting the affairs of the party in the State to his peaceful disposition, listening ears and his abilities to nip potential problems within the party at the bud.
The SSA stated that the State Chairman and his Ecxo members worked hard to promote peace within the party and also recorded resounding victory in elections over the past years.
While felicitating with the new State Executive Committee of the PDP, Dr Nwoko urged them to sustain the peace in the party which had contributed to the massive electoral victories the party recorded in the state for the past 21years.
It will be recalled that Delta State PDP Congress was conducted on Saturday August 8, 2020, under strick adherence to the NCDC safety protocols.
Dr. Nwoko, as a member of the State COVID-19 team, was on ground to assist in the enforcement of safety protocols during the congress.
