PDP CONGRESS: Ighrakpata Hails Okowa For Peaceful Exercise, Rejoices With Esiso On Re – election

The Deputy Chief Whip of the Delta State House of Assembly, Honourable (Chief) Solomon Ighrakpata, has commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for the peaceful Congress of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, held in the state on Saturday.

Ighrakpata, who represents the Uvwie Constituency in the House, said Governor Okowa as the leader of the party in Delta State, perfected all arrangements to ensure a hitch free Congress.

The Lawmaker, in a congratulatory message to Chief Esiso, noted that his re-election as the State Chairman of the party was a welcome development, describing him as an epitome of internal democracy.

While felicitating with Chief Esiso, Ighrakpata urged him to sustain the winning streak of the party in future elections and garner more supports for the party, even beyond Delta State.

The Uvwie representative described the State PDP Chairman as a man passionate about a more united and progressive ruling party in Delta State and called for the unflinching support of all critical stakeholders in moving the party to the next level in the state.

The Legislator also felicitated with others who emerged as members of the State Executive Committee of the party at the Congress and enjoined them to work for the progress of the party in the state.

The Deputy Chief Whip reminded all that the ultimate goal of the party was to provide more dividends of democracy to Deltans and commended the irrevocable commitment of Governor Okowa to impacting positively on the lives of the people.

Ighrakpata assured that the state would witness greater development under the  PDP government, affirming that the Stronger Delta agenda of the Okowa administration was on course.

He pledged the unalloyed support of his Constituency for the PDP and expressed optimism that the party would reclaim the Presidency come 2023.
